How to Host a Rackspace Cloud Server

    • 1). Open your web browser and go to the Rackspace website.

    • 2). Look at the top menu and select "Hosting" and "Cloud Products," then click "Cloud Servers."

    • 3). Read over the information carefully to familiarize yourself with the different features and services you want to order and which ones will provide value and benefit to you and your customers. If you need more info, click the "Live Chat" button floating on the right side of the web page. There you can ask the live chat customer service rep for more clarity on certain issues.

    • 4). Scroll down and click on the "Order Now" button. Make your selection, then fill out the form. Include your name, email address and password. Click "Continue."

    • 5). Enter your account information, including your company name, first name, last name, street address and email address. Click "Next."

    • 6). Enter your billing and credit card information and click "Finish."

    • 7). Confirm the email sent into your inbox by clicking the email confirmation link.

    • 8). Use the user ID and password you created earlier and log into your new cloud server control cPanel. You should now be in the cPanel.

    • 9). Look to your left pane. You will see categories such as "Home," "Hosting," "Clients" and "Account." Under these categories you can add clients, add hosting for those clients, and administer their accounts using the cPanel.
